All papers must be formatted according to the IEEE Xplore template (letter Size Paper template) template.
All submissions should be written in English and should have 4-5 pages, including figures, all of them in the US letter format pages. Ready versions of accepted papers exceeding five (5) pages, up to seven (7), will be allowed pending payment of overlength charges (75€ for each additional page).
All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) using the ICUWB 2017 conference management system.
Please, once your paper is accepted and before the final paper submission, check your PDF with IEEE PDF express at
www.pdf-express.org with conference ID 40899X
Papers will be reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice.
ICUWB 2017 welcomes the submission of application papers with preference to the topics listed in the call for papers. All submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process; each paper will be refereed by at least three experts in the field based on relevance, originality, significance, quality and clarity.
ICUWB 2017 follows a single-blind review process. Authors are required to include their names and affiliations in their papers as illustrated in the sample templates. Your PDF file must not include paper id, page number & conference name.
Invited and submitted papers published on the ICUWB 2017 must meet established IEEE standards and requirements. These apply to post-conference distribution of the Conference proceedings as well, including submission to IEEE Xplore. Standards and requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Papers must be presented at the conference. An author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference (IEEE member or non-member) rate. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one registration is valid for up to two (2) papers ALL belonging either to the regular track, or to the SAME workshop, or to the SAME special session. Each student registration covers one (1) paper submission.
- Critical technical comments of technical reviewers and the technical program committee must be adequately reflected in the final manuscript.
- Papers must not include unprofessional text such as ad hominem abuse, automatically generated text, or unsubstantiated claims.
- Ownership rights of the intellectual property must be transferred to IEEE for publication in IEEE Xplore. Authors will receive an email with the instructions to sign the IEEE Copyright form.

If you are a student first-author of a submitted paper and if you want your paper to be considered for a Best Student Paper Award of the IEEE ICUWB 2017 Conference, then please do not forget to indicate your student status in the EasyChair registration page of your manuscript.
