Visit to the medieval towers of the Cathedral of Salamanca

The Medieval towers are one of Salamanca’s most famous landmarks. Making the passage in the interior of the towers can be an unforgettable experience and we learn a lot about their history and construction. In addition, the Ieronimus exhibition takes us through over 900 years of art and history. For more information: http://ieronimus.es/

The visit to the Cathedral’s Medieval Towers will take place at 19:45 It will be a group visit and anyone wishing to participate must register. Attendees who do not register will not be able to join the group organized by the congress.

The visit to the Cathedral’s Towers (Ieronimus) is a walking tour that goes 110 meters in height, so we recommended you wear comfortable and suitable footwear. The route is not adapted for people with disabilities, since stairs are the only way of access to the cathedral’s towers.

Feria de la Tapa (Tapas Fair)

Salamanca’s patron saint celebrations coincide with the conference, so attendees will be able to taste the local food sold  in customary booths located throughout the city (http://www.salamanca.com/ferias-y-fiestas-en-salamanca/).

Salamanca’s Fair has its origins in the agricultural fair that was celebrated in the past, during the month of September, in the "Teso de la Feria", next to the Roman Bridge, on the left bank of river Tormes. The Virgin of the Vega, has been the patroness of Salamanca for centuries.
